Kuthiravattom murder: Suspect’s arrest will be recorded after receiving medical report
The arrest of the suspect in the Kuthiravattom murder case will only be registered after receiving a medical report from the panel of doctors at the Government Medical College Hospital in Kozhikode. A 30-year-old patient was found dead at the government mental health center in Kuthiravattom on Thursday.
Although the woman accused of taking part in the incident has been charged, further legal action will only be taken on the basis of the medical report as she has undergone treatment for mental illness at the centre.
It was Friday that the Medical College Police confirmed the unnatural death of a 30-year-old Maharashtra native as murder. In the autopsy report, it was found that the victim had been strangled or suffocated to death. His body was found in the hospital cell on Thursday morning.
