Interior Health Chief Medical Officer of Health taken into custody: sources
Interior Health’s Chief Medical Officer of Health has been arrested.
Sources told Global News that Dr Albert de Villiers was arrested on Tuesday.
Global News is waiting to confirm the charges and Interior Health says they will have more information on Wednesday.

Prior to moving to the Okanagan, de Villiers was the Chief Medical Officer of Health for the Northern Zone of Alberta and was based in Grande Prairie.
