July 3, 2021: Indian Coast Guard has launched the online application process for the recruitment of 350 Seafarer and Engineer positions. These include 260 for Navik (general service), 50 for Navik (domestic branch), 20 for mechanical (mechanical), 13 for mechanic (electrical) and mechanical (electronic). There are 7 positions. The application process will take place from July 2, that is, from today to July 16, 2021. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting joinindiancoastguard.gov.in before July 16.

Eligibility

Marin (GD): 12th passage with Maths and Physics.

Sailor (Domestic Branch): 10th passage.

Mechanics: 10th pass and diploma in electricity / mechanics /Electronics / Telecommunications (Radio / Energy) Engg.

Age limit

18 to 22 years old.

Marin (GD) & Mécanique: Born between February 1, 2000 and January 31, 2004.

Sailor (domestic branch): Born between April 1, 2000 and March 31, 2004.

Selection process

Applicants will be selected on the basis of a written exam, a standard physical test, a physical efficiency test and a medical test.

There will be a written test in the first phase. Candidates who qualify for the written test will be called for the physical efficiency and physical standard test.
